Citizens Advice Purbeck is seeking a volunteer to help with research and campaigning on issues faced by local residents.

Citizens Advice is well known for our work giving advice to people for the problems they face, and this gives us incredible insight and data on how we can improve policies and practices on a local and national level. In this way we use one person's problem to prevent the same problem happening to someone else. Our Research & Campaign volunteers are vital to this process - could you help us?

What will you do?
-Use research and campaigns action to tackle problems at source
-Monitor key current research and campaigns issues, and their potential impact on Citizens Advice clients
-Develop and maintain systems and procedures to support research and campaigns work
-Research, analyse and interpret information from our database
-Produce and present effective information, reports and briefings for internal / external audiences
-Engage with MPs, stakeholders, and the media

You can read more about our research and campaigns work here.  If you are interested in exploring this opportunity further, please email
